Ainu wood art that soothes the soul. These wooden tray are carved with ancient Ainu symbols that are based on natural elements. I use my own for storing my keys as you can see in the gallery. Seeing and touching it on a daily basis calm me down. It's almost like having plants in your house. A reminder that nature is the source. And it just looks cooler than a metal tray or ceramic holder for your keys. You have to watch the interview with the artisan to understand what the symbol for the tray pictured represents.
